I trade mine to my rat guy for $5 in credit. Either sex. He gets them eating and then sells then to pet stores.

I wholesale them to local pet stores for $10 each, or $8 each for 10+ snakes. Honestly, I make no money on normals; I just make sure they are healthy, eating, and ready for a new home. After that, they are out of my hands.

I've been thinking about what I'm going to do with normals a lot lately. We got our only male normal as a "freebie" when I bought my female fire. He's my boyfriend's snake. Since I've started working with/raising up my reptiles (haven't produced yet) I've introduced a lot of acquaintances to the hobby who showed interest in having snakes. My thought is that I'll probably throw together a "kit" with a pre-melted tub, ultratherm, hydrofarm t-stat, luggage straps, substrate, basic care sheet with book/website recommendations, a couple of hides and a waterbowl (maybe some feeders if I've got some extra) and add the snake for free if the kit is purchased. I don't know how well it'd sell, but it would make me feel better about the normals going to a good home with informed people, and they would have the advantage of getting everything they need sans petco style ripoff prices (don't forget the hotrock! )
