    I am sooo sorry for the mix up! Thank-you for the correction. That is Ohio law. Federal is just transporting across state lines. I worked midnight last night and haven't been to bed. Truly sorry for the error on my part. And the legal part was my stupid auto correct dried phone I must have spelled it incorrectly and that's what it took it as.

    LOL! Illegal animals and marijuana are both for sale/barter/trade/for services on craigslist where I live! I dont know how they get away with it but I guess nobody is watching!

    I would normally rail against this but since it was a state law and he had the animals in his possession without a permit he is in the wrong here plain and simple. Are they a threat to the NY ecosystem? I doubt it, but like it or not we do have to abide by state and federal laws especially if we are ever to shake this stigma that all snake keepers are unstable outlaws or criminals.
