Early breeding?

    Don
I do a temp drop, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I drop temps in October and raise them in February. I was hoping this would give me a season. I'd rather have the babies come within a few months. But, it didn't work for me. My "season" lasts about six months. Out of eighteen breeding females this last season, all laid except three. So, something is going right.

So, question, as this is hopefully my first year breeding. The only temp I've noticed, is I turn my heater off at night to decrease the ambient air. My largest female is in the 1200-1300 gram mark, and is having a shed right now. Should I introduce my huge 1600 gram proven male soon or wait a bit longer??

I'm rather excited. Temps in the morning is around 74 ish. I don't touch their heat though.

    Thanks

you can put them together because after the first time you put the male in they pick up feeding

I cool, but ONLY the hot spot, which I will start dropping in October. I do NOT mess with ambient temps, and keep them ~78deg.

Ive been breeding year round. Just had an ovulation 2 weeks ago and about to have another in Im guessing a week or two. Had a least 1 clutch of eggs in the incubator constantly since February:D They seem to bred whenever they feel ready and that can be at any time and I dont cool.
