    Marla,
Congrats! I was just wondering and praying that he would come back safe and sound and was so glad to see this post!
    How long was he MIA?
That is great news, another success story:)

Almost two weeks he was missing! And if I were any less alert, I wouldn't have felt his light touch on my foot and he'd still be missing. Or if I'd gone to bed at a decent hour, LOL. By the way, John, the story gets weirder. While I was finding my missing snake after our chat, Will was finding his missing mouse. How about that for some timing?

I'm thinking of calling him Bo Peep, because that's who I felt like when I had him back.
"Little Bo Peep has lost her snake and can't tell where to find him.
Leave him alone and he'll come home, dragging his tail behind him."

    :D

It's not too girly? The kids thought the other snakes might make fun of him. :)

LOL...well, it can be like those pure-bred dogs...with long, efeminate names on their certificates...but they get called "Butch" for short. You can call him "Bo." That's a nice, masculine name....and save the " Little Peep" for official correspondance. :P

Marla, that's wonderful news, and an interesting story as well. I don't think the prodigal son was ever named in the bible, but a little research told me that the story is from the book of Luke. Not a bad name, and one the other snakes probably wouldn't make fun of. But Bo Peep is good too. If you call him Bo for short, you could just tell the other snakes he was named for Bo Duke, from the Dukes of Hazard. (OOPS - is my age showing?)

He was roaming your house for two weeks??? will they not get too cold living at room temp?? Im really glad you found him THATS AWSOME!!!

That'a good idea -- I could tell he other snakes he's Bo, like Bo Duke. :) They won't know he's really Bo Peep. And since DoH was filmed not too far from here, it's even more credible. Plus I got a DoH mousepad for my birthday. Now MY age is showing. LOL

And by all rights he should have been too cold at room temp, but if he was mostly hanging out near the snake enclosures, heating pad on the floor for him, and computer, he could have stayed pretty warm. But it is definitely AWESOME to have him back!
