I use Herpstat and VE for my racks an incubator. (Doubt I would ever use anything else since I am very satisfied with both)

And I use Ranco for my oil filled heater.

Just got a Herpstat 1 last weekend. I'm very impressed so far and I definitely like the blue display. :D

I use Herpstat thermostats. They have more features than any other thermostat and are the safest due to special software/mechanical failsafe devices

I have Herpstats, Helix, VE's and a Ranco in my reptile room. The Ranco is used for the oil filled heater in the room, not on racks. The other three are all very good thermostats, with my current favorite being the VE's. I prefer the way they stack and they have been rock solid for me. I don't think you can do wrong with any of the three (Herpstat, Helix or VE).

i run helix all the way around. 1 on each multi-unit, one on my rack and one for my bator. never had any issues. i've never used anything else so i dont know what im missing with other units. these do eveything i need them to.
