I'm going to breed my pythons this fall for the first time as well. I was wondering if it would be okay to remove the hideaway when I introduce the male into the female's tub? I just don't see how they'd have enough room together... It's a 41 qt tub.

I take everything out but the substrate.

My big girls don't have hides anyway but I would remove them.

I use paper towel. Is it ok for them to lay eggs on paper towel? I'm curious, who does not use hides in tubs? Either during breeding or all year.
