The brown out line on the pattern is a better indicator.

Just a pet peeve of mine about the eyes. Green Eyes do not always equal pastel.

YES!!! This drives me up a wall too!

It's like Pied markers. I believe many het pieds DO have markers, but so do many normals. Many Pastels have green eyes...BUT so do many normals and other morphs.

    Okay...I'm done venting.

The eyes could look like that because of stuck eye caps... being on paper in a glass aquarium and all.

    I can't see any blushing.

Light colored normal is what I'm going with.

EDIT: Look at the eyes in pics 2 and 3 .... stuck caps.

I can't even seen the eyes in 2 and 3 - at least not clearly.

I do think it's a pastel, based on the brown out line that you can see on its sides in Picture 1, not because of the eyes.

Even if it's a pastel, it's a (relatively) ugly pastel, I wouldn't let it come close to any breeding projects. For $45 it'll make a fine pet. Looks skinny though, be wary.

I'd buy it just to get it out of that hell it's living in, quarantine like crazy and just enjoy it as a pet.

(but then I want to save everything)

    :)

my vote is pastel only way to go tell is looking at it .. and seeing if it has a clear underbelly no marks what so ever .. most if nto all pastel morph should be the same perfectly clear! .. not the greatest lookign pastel but gain it some wieght find a goodlooking male an dyou might be able to clean that pattern up a little bit an dmake it look a little nicer :3 .. 45 dollars isnt bad i bought my female for 160 everything included ... but i mean these people like poked and slapped its face in front of me .. so i kinda really had no choice just so it can go to a better home.. she is 2 years and 800 grams.. ima try getting her to 1000 before breeding season if possible and breed her with my possible mystic .. we will tell if he is mystic or not if i can get her to 1000 grams .. but like i said you can clean up her pattern possibly .. and if you are a first time breeder .. sometimes cheap can get you started .. ( personal oppinion.) but 45 dollars to give a snale proper care and maybe get some nice snakes out of it with a nice looking male normal or morph ..DO IT ! thats my advice

I do agree he/she is rather skinny and in poor condition >.< I'm going to email the owner about getting him, even if he doesn't go into any future breedings. If nothing else, I might keep as a pet/trade at Repticon once he/she get's healthy and has had some TLC. Poor thing :(
    Thanks much guys <3
