I have the same set up. Here is what I did.
Cover screen top with duct tape like said above with hole cut about 1/2" bigger then lamp. Get a 50-75 watt red bulb from petco or pet store ( never seen the kind I mean any where else) put it on a slide dimmer switch at about 1/2 way for cool side will keep temp 80-85 no problem. Hot side I had a UTH but dump it and got a human heat pad put it on med and hook it up to a dimmer beacuse even on low it made my tank to darn hot 95-100. now it stays a good 90-92. For humditiy problems I got a TropicAire and hook it up to a fishtank pump works awesome humditiy stays a firm 60-65 on hot side 50-55 on cool side and a good 50-60 overall. Ozzy has shed once no problem at all, in one piece .
I never have to mist and we have gas heat and our house is really dry.
I also dont have to put my water bowl over heat.
    Things stay well
    Hope this helps
