Re: Your absolute favourite "chill out," album?
Depends on your definition of chill out. I'm a huge alice in chains/pearl jam fan but tose arent chill out bands to me. If you wanna kick back and relax, pop in some john lee hooker.

Hmm, to chill out, I would say Jack Johnson-In Between Dreams. I could also listen to any Craig D'Andrea album or Ryan Spendlove-Fable.

Hmm, most of my "chill out" music probably isn't what most of yall would consider relaxing music as it is generally fairly heavy. I consider it very comforting and perfect for putting on a pair of decent headphones, laying down and listening to in the dark until I fall asleep.

"My Arms, Your Hearse" - Opeth
    "2112" - Rush
    "Dismantling Devotion" - Daylight Dies
    "Grave New World" - Soulfallen
"Alaska" - Between The Buried And Me
Pretty much anything by Agalloch and Tool are good to mellow out to as well.

Tool- they only have 3 or 4 albums out but 10,000 days is probably the one i listen to most. I like them bc theyre metal, but they dont have any distinct sound.

I also like RHCP, some pink floyd as ghost said^, and some other bands i probably cant think of right now haha.

I dont really have "chill out" music though. Im having trouble defining that catergory as to what you mean. Our definitions of chilling out may differ...

Tool rocks! they have some pretty creative music videos.

Yea they only have a few, not one for every song. I kinda like that. Lets you interpret your own thoughts on their songs.

It is impossible to interpret the mind of Maynard James Keenan... :8:
