    That's hard to say. I personally don't offer food for longer than 15 minutes. If it doesn't show a feeding response within that time they usually won't. In my experience.

    Relax and remember your snake will know what to do.

    Ive just never dealt with a hatchling before.
    My big guy i know exactly what to do. This little one makes me feel like ecerything ive learned with the big one is obsolete lol.

    You could get him out from under the towels. I always get mine out from underneath them, then he usually just goes into the hide minus towels. I would try to keep changes to his tub to a minimum though, don't worry about leaves. And I also wouldn't wait any longer than 15 minutes, then he can wait till next time. They eat when they are hungry.
