Tape is a problem. Get it out. Do a search in forums and see what comes up if you don't believe us. We don't want your snake to get hurt.

You wouldn't like having to peel tape off of your snake would you, as the tape comes off so would her scales you may think nope she will never get tape on her but maybe on day.
I once put a black sticky thing inside of the tank to cover up a hole temporarily it was like tape, i NEVER thought it would come off one day i woke up with it stuck on him took me like half hour to peel it off very carefully, wasn't fun at all!

The thing is its not really tape anymore... I made the hide myself and it was a little sharp on the plastic so I melted the tape on to avoid scratches, I appreciate the worries tho! And I live in Grand Forks ND not a whole lot of anything around here! I have looked everywhere for appropriate live sized feeders can't find any on CL, petco or my local pet store!!! I read somewhere you can rub tuna on F/T any validity to this?

Your BP will probably eat small mice f/t once you have given her a tighter hide to make he feel more secure.
