Are you trying to make the feeder scared, and defensive??

Theres really no need to torture the feeder like that. It doesnt make it any easier for your snake. 99% of the time they get clean hits on the prey anyways. In the rare event that they dont you can intervene.

Re: How to offer live?
Since I have just started on my collection of snakes again, I have started to breed my own mice/rats. As for how to present them live, I dissorient them either by spinning them, making the mouse dizzy or dropping it the feeding tub from about chest high. My Ball Pythons are very Aggressive eaters, So when put in the feeding tubs, they know what is coming and sit ready in the corner. I have tongs or a pencil to keep the teeth away from the snake

You two should hook up and form the I spinner's club.
Either way, its an unnecessary and cruel practice. Its one thing for a snake to constrict its prey, a whole other ball game to prolong suffering on purpose when the result is the same......
Spinning or dropping the feeder not only disorients it, its painful and causes it to panic. Panic feeders are dangerous feeders. Be lucky that your snakes are strong feeders and strike right away. A slower snake will get attacked by such a freaked out feeder.
Next time just gently put your feeder into the tub and watch. 99% of the time, it will groom itself, walk around, or just chill. No need for spinning.....
If your snakes are really as aggressive as you say, they will be fine.
