Re: King of the Hill anti-snake episode
KOTH is a fantastic cartoon that parodies US culture. They made the people out to be the bad ones in that episode, not the snake. It never hurt anyone, and Bobby even had it around his neck lounging. Nearly every topic they touch on is a parody, but most people don't see that because they're not blatant about it, which is why I think the show didn't run for longer. I understand your feelings, and how it can seem detrimental in our current climate, but just know it's not taking itself seriously.

Yup. Hank was even defending the snake, "There has never been a case of a snake attacking someone through the toilet" and other such comments made by him. I saw nothing anti-snake about the episode. I did see it as a slap to the face of the countless mindless Americans out there who will buy into anything and everything the media feeds them. KOTH does this a lot and is one of the reasons I love the show. People in general are tools, end of story.
