    I incubate @ 89.6 which after this years loss I may incubate at 88... I have individual thermo on each level of the incubator plus the main incubator thermo.

    I incubate at the same temps, I don't use press and seal tho. Like someone said earlier, the tubs seal well enough that with substrate-less you shouldn't need the press and seal. I would recommend trying without it. Other than that, did you switch to a new vermiculite? Or do anything different this time around than before?

    That is really weird. What are you incubating in? Also, are you 100% sure your verm doesn't have fertilizer in it?

    Hi,

    When you say you have a thermometer on every level have you measured inside the egg tubs themselves?

    They begin to produce a little heat on their own towards the end of incubation as well as needing more oxygen.

    I wouldn't have thought it would have mede a massive difference but it can't hurt to check. :confusd:
