Seriously, get a block of dry ice, snap off a cube. Drop it in a cup of warm water and it'll produce so much c02 it'll kill em in a couple mins. They'll first feel like they can't breathe, then feel fine, then pass out. Headaches maybe, wooziness is a given. Painless though.

Having been in a room, real small, full of dry ice gas I know what it feels like. When you can breathe the stuff and you don't notice anything then get the heck outta there. Once that happened and the second I got out I got dizzy and almost passed out totally.

Anyhoo, my point is that it's real painless and not harmful to your bp's. rodent breeders use c02 also. I bet there is a better way to get it then dry ice. But dry is pure c02 that got so cold it become a solid snow like thing. Then packed into blocks. Easy to use, cheap, and fast. Of course you could rig an execution chamber for the release of compressed c02, but how practical is that?

ummm ... maybe a bit ;) I am allowed to cross the street by myself, though, so at least it's true.

I am wondering, though, about things like cleaning products, spray foam, spray paint, etc., if they would be safe to use after (24 hours? 7 days?) ventilation.
