There will be a little temp variance but it shouldnt be huge. you can plug all the pads into a power strip and then plug the strip into the stat

lol..I tend to get the knowledgeable reps every time ;) I tried plugging them all in to a strip, and the strip to the Zilla Tstat, and with the Zilla set at 89 I had one tank (with probe) at 89/90 and the rest ranged from 85-105. I tried a new Zilla, a new power strip and let them all cool and restarted at the same cooled temp..made no difference. The only way to get them to regulate properly was individual stats. I'm going to get the Helix and hope that it does a better job. I'm going to be upset if it doesn't, but not completely surprised. :please:

Have you thought about trying out flexwatt instead of heatmats? I haven't seen much of a difference in temps when I hook multiple identical strips to a power strip to a single tstat.

Flex a watt would be cheaper and easier.
The other option is to figure out each mats temp while on one stat and put the probe on the one that has the middle to high temp then adjust stat till they all are in usable temps.

I never trust the numbers on the stat, I always temp my tubs individually;)
