Enchi spider stuff is awesome..but don't rule out some more obscure stuff like Vanilla or even something recessive for long term projects.

    I am a bit different...let me explain :)

I see you have a pastel/spider female and a pastel female and a spider female.... I suppose if you're in a rush, that's fine. However, what I've learned is that if you're in a rush, you're not in the right hobby/business.

It would have been a lot more cost effective, or perhaps a better spending strategy if you had purchased 3 pastels and 1 male spider for pretty much the same price or even a bit less.

At the end of the day my purchase strategy is to buy females that are single, powerful genes and spend my money on males instead.

Best advice I ever got was "Make a long term plan, and stick to it"

I would also vote for something with calico or enchi in it. I love what both of them do when mixed with the spider gene. :D

The spotnose gene has some merit to working with it and I don't think a lot of people are really working with it. The most common combo I've seen with spotnoses is a pastel spotnose, but I did see a lesser spotnose that was really impressive.

As for the second spider female and male desert, that's really up to you. I personally have no interest in the deserts and it's not just because of the issue with females. Since you already have a bee and a spider I think it might be worth it to invest in a different direction and add something you don't already have.

I was going to suggest this^, well actually i was gunna say fire lesser but same difference lol. I would get a lesser/butter fire or a fire enchi. Not sure if there are any out there but a fire lesser enchi would be ideal imo haha :D

I mean I'm not really "new" to this hobby. I just didn't like the direction I was going and decide to scrap it and start over. I've gotten 0.2 Mojave, 0.1 spider, 0.1 bee, 1.0 champagne, 1.0 leopard, and 0.1 pastel YB With the only two not breeding size are the leopard and pastel YB and I have spent under 3000. So those females I got were for pretty much single gene prices.

Here's my pic thread.... FireFly took down a fuzzy before I put her away. FireButter was just playing with his, so I put him away and will try in a few days. Both beautiful snakes from Mike Wilbanks. I will have to personally thank him in Daytona. He said if I was not happy with either of them that I could return them at the show. Needless to say- I won't be returning either :D
