C02 (youtube it) never heard of the dry ice. I'll look that up too.

Dry ice is just frozen CO2. Did it and hopefully killed it. I didn't feel a heartbeat (and I know at least vaguely where to look to find it, I was in school to be a vet tech) but I guess I'll know if when I open the freezer door it isn't how I left it.

Pin the back of the skull down on a flat surface right behind the ears with your index finger and thumb of one hand. With the other hand, grab the base of the tail FIRMLY and give a SNAPPING tug to break the neck. This is the most humane way to do it without going and buying dry ice and setting up a chamber and all of this madness.

As for it eating it... it probably would, but it's too big to feed safely since it's live. The other thing someone pointed out is it may go on a feeding strike for a while after. I did that by accident recently because i moved up a prey size too soon. I got a 100 gram rat down, but then she skipped the next 3 feedings. I could have given 100g at once or 4x 60g = 240g by keeping the meal small. Lesson learned.

    But it was cute...

Do they look that cute frozen when they're that size?
