Nope, doesn't stain or turn the water colors if it gets in the water. We had red and black for our Hog Island.

Keep us updated on whether you find any problems with it running or staining. I know the packaged says it doesnt but you know how far a manufacturers word goes lol :rolleyes:

I've used the black before and had absolutely no staining, running or any other nasty stuff happen with it. I'd love to give the blue a go! Good to know they have that now.
