He is a nice looking snake but I would get a female if you can. They get a little bigger and if you decide to breed, you will have a female ready to go. I didn't think I wanted to breed(just a pet) but later I changed my mind and had to start with an adult male and a baby female and wait longer. Good luck with your new baby!

That's an ok price for a healthy normal, normal males are quite a bit less than that at reptile shows though.
