    ball pythons have pits one thier cheecks too...give them a "side view" is what i would guess. but why doenst it have any in front? do they have alot of reptiles intheir natural diet?

    The pits are heat pits used for sensing their warm-blooded prey. They are on the side of their face because thats where God put them.....any questions? LOL
