    As soon as I fot my bp I took him to the vet. Im glad I did because he had some parasite, and now hes all better, but i ibtened to always take new animals to the cet, and maybe every year for a check up.

    Most of the internal parasites look the same no matter what species it inhabits. But those posters are really crap when compared to an actual book.

    We have used and recommended the Klingenburg Understanding Parasites book for many years. The 2nd Edition is the most current version. We've sold hundreds of copies, most often to lizard keepers. Terrific and easy to read reference.

    We would typically do yearly fecals for lizards and geckos, but only as needed with snakes, after there were other symptoms, typically anorexia.
