    Not ball pythons but..
    One time I was taking care of my friend's corn snake. It was a little later than her regular feeding day, so I guess she was hungry, lol. I took her outside to let it crawl around in he sun, and the cats had killed a mouse earlier. she actually made her way over to the mouse and ate it.:confusd:
    I suppose if it smells viable enough, the will eat it. I think that a snake would be able to detect how rotten the meat it was looking a was to some extent..?
