You're not in trouble until you serisously can look at an animal and say "Hmm 4K yea that's a pretty good price".. from that point on it's just down hill..

Lol, I love this thread and agree with every one of you. My husband wants to spend $20 on downloads for his game and I'm thinking, what a waste! Can I get a $500 pewter girl??? Please???

People buy champion show line pet dogs that actually do things like provide companionship for like $1500.

My bank account is at 20 bucks the day before my paychecks. 700 for a snake? NO PROBLEM!

Even though I'm a newcomer to the hobby, it took only about 2-3 months for this to set in. I can still smile even after spending $700 on a snake.

Like others have also said, when it comes to spending $4 on a box of cereal or $7 on a 32 oz jar of peanut butter, I can only scowl and think I've been ripped off...

$23 for roasted cashews.... freakin ridiculous....

Totally looking at a $50 pile of sterilite tubs like they're gold right now :P

I discovered this to be true at the Herp Expo (San Jose) last weekend, but luckily I didn't have ANY money to spend - even on those "great deals." In particular I found myself looking at an Angolan Python, one of my dream snakes, and saying "What a fantastic deal @ only $495!!" If I'd had that kind of money to blow, I definitely would have snatched up one without batting an eyelash. :oops:
