Well I would say do something you enjoy and comes natural. NOT something you are deeply passionate about, save that for a hobby and stress relief. Unless you can get into a really sweet job following a dream. in that case GO FOR IT!!

however have you ever considered the computer field? You are easily smart enough for it and could learn it all no problem. Plus to get the education needed to be competitive in the field is as simple as a quick 1 week online course followed by a cert test of some kind. Or you can simply self teach and take cert tests for each aspect you want to learn.

It has been VERY good to me. I have since i started in a matter of 6 years more than Doubled what I make and keep on going up. Plus with about 10-12 years in and a few certs you could easily clear well over 6 figures if you play your cards right.

I work a very standard 9-5 and it works well for when I have my daughter. Plus many career paths have the ability to work from home or remote. Some however do require travel and that is where you could make serious money fast but as a parent that isnt always an option.

    just my :2cent:

Leah, I am not much help either LOL
If I remember right we are close to the same age and now we are going through the same thoughts.
What we want to do and what we have to do are two totally different things.
I am lucky that my wife is now in a position to almost maintain us for a couple of months while I try to figure something out.
Last week I got tired of being talked down to by my manager (Infront of my staff) so I told Pop A Lock to kiss my hind end.
I have never ever ever ever done anything without having some type of plan so this is a first for me.:confusd:
I dream job is working at the San Antonio Zoo but two things happen, I dont have a degree to get in the "upper" poistions and I have been management too long so I am over qualified to scoop poo:mad::mad: People dont seem to understand that I just want to work and money is not huge in my life anymore.
You just need to figure out what to do that will keep you able to spend time with that little man you got there. Im sure he will always be proud to look up to you no matter what choice you make.:gj:
