I can see where the OP is coming from with not getting it if things are shady. It is kind of like buying a puppy from the pet store because you feel sorry for where it came from (most of the time a puppy mill). All you are doing is fueling the deplorable conditions and amoral practices those animals were raised in. I know if I did that I would not feel good about the "great deal" I got on the animal... :(

I agree, but I would still like to know how it was shady. May help some for when they aren't sure if they may be getting their snake from somewhere "shady"

I'd stay away from their line of fires and pastels, however, as the super fires (BELs) that they produce have some yellow spotting on the back and their pastels are pretty darn brown. I'll be getting a male VPI from them this year and their snakes are super healthy and go for good prices.
Some of us like having that added bit of variation in our bels! :D
