about handling...i just wanted one that would be beautiful and that i could handle and show to my friends. now i can satisfy my odd need to handle a tarantula and move on to other less handleable species. which i plan to do :). i have been planning to get a chromatopelma cyaneopubescens. i also like the way the brachypelma smithi look. but thats another one i could probably handle. last time i checked there was an adult available at the local herp shop. if its still there in a couple weeks, you can expect some more pics from me:) so far i havent even held mine. its too small. well, that and its in its burrow constantly.
some webbing!....i just looked and its does have a little bit of web around the top of its burrow. just a tiny bit. but its cool
my camera does take little 20 second videos...but i cant get good video of feeding because it just does it all in the burrow.

Picked up a Acanthoscurria Geniculata (sp?) sling at Scales-n-Tails in Northglenn last week. I have a few pics, but it's so small, they are kinda blurry.
