    In Florida they are illeagle because there is a real chance of them becoming an invasive species. For once there was some actual science/reason considered in the ban. It sucks but I'm ok with it.

    That size should be fine for the beardie. I custom made a cage the exact same size for mine and she loves it I think she is actually less stressed in the bigger cage then when I had her in a 20gal. I also just take her out to feed separate from her enclosure, but always keep the veggies in with her (even tho she is pretty picky) lol.
