    That's it. FedEx has size and weight restrictions, and being a live reptile, a giant snake like that (or a full size giant lizard) is just too problematic for a FedEx service.

    We have shipped adult burms and African Rocks at Pro Exotics, back in the 90's when we were getting out of the species, and it necessitated building custom crates, and bags, for each. Expensive indeed. Had to go Delta Air Freight, also crazy expensive.

    Temperature wise, it is still an insulated box, so there is temperature control, but given such a large container, you are best to ship in weather where neither extreme cold nor heat is a concern.
