    Maybe as simple as a deformity looks very incomplete so I don't even think it is a morph. Just looks incomplete.

    Fatal random mutation, or developmental error. They're actually very common in nature. Just something we breeders have to get used to, as it will happen once in a while. I usually get at least one every year, randomly. If we never cut the eggs, we would never see them.
