Skin problem on baby ball python?

Excellent!!! He's a good looking BP by the way.

Luckily it was only electrical tape :) I would rather have some easy to rinse off residue, than anything that rips off scales.

Thank god it was only electrical tape and not duct tape or something more serious, and thank god it's not a burn! Glad you got the residue off the little guy. Lesson learned, it could have ended much much worse!

Thank for coming back and letting us know what it was! Too often people come in with a problem and we never find out about the animals involved or what it was.

Great to hear that it wasn't a hugely serious issue. And obviously there's no risk of it happening again.

If you're needing a hide, you can be creative until you purchase one. A large granola bar box (cardboard), something like that. An opaque tupperware container from the dollar store with a hole cut in it (I take a lighter and lightly 'melt' the edges so they aren't sharp).

I think he's doing pretty well. He ate his first f/t fuzzy mouse last night. The breeder was giving him live fuzzies. Something sort of funny happened.... I was blow drying the (first) mouse and it flew down my bathroom sink. lol. I have to find it before starts to smell.

locking hemostats... with little rats and mice I lock them on the leg while heating they don't blow away so much them. I also heat them in the room with the snake the smell helps trigger feeding response.
