Yes, you should be able to make it work. Just make sure that you provide two snug hides, and maybe add some fake vines or plants to fill in some of the dead space...

My room is well ventilated i have these air vent things in my room that lets in fresh air

If you are using a large water bowl, or it is sitting on top of the heater, this can also cause high humidity...

Maybe your hygrometer is messed up. If they get wet they start to give false readings. Did you try a different one?

Tubs aside, I think the first would be a better option. Ball pythons can stress out in an enclosure that is too big, and a tiny baby is even more prone to stress from a big enclosure. A 3' long enclosure might be good for a ball python pushing 2,500g but surely not a tiny baby like yours. The smaller one will last you a long time.

You will probably have high humidity in that one your looking at then. If you have a fan you could place in the room on low it should drop it some. What's the humidity in the room?

I done the hygrometer salt test, and it was only 2% off the correct reading, and i am confused some people are telling me the X24 is too small and i should use the X36 and then others are saying other things :/

    Yea, the vivarium.

The smaller one is actually near a 20 gallon tank. It sounded small but i just looked it up. That would be fine.

Post a pic here or in your profile so we can see how you have the holes put in it.
