Yes try fuzzies first. Give it a few days before attempting to feed again, if you just tried.

A couple words of advice. First get a T-Stat the hydroform is not to expensive. I have seen more than a few snakes burnt from a UTH that was way to hot. The Temp gun is a great idea to make sure your temps are not to hot. I would also second feeding in the enclosure moving your snake causes stress and will lead to not eating. I would also cover 3 sides of the tank (not just the back) this will give your little guy a lot more security :). Not sure if you are feedign live or F/T but if all else fails try a live mouse hopper something about the way they move seems to drive snakes into a feed response. Make sure to double check your husbandry with the caresheet. And let us know how it goes :)

went and got a live mouse and put it in a box and it is currently eating it. about damn time. even though it had trouble the first attempt. it struck and only got the end of the tail and clenched on for a good 5 mins trying to squeeze but couldnt get its grip until she finally let go and took a break and got it dead on the head next time.
