    Better to feed prey that's too small instead of something that's too big.

    When I buy any younger snakes, they're generally ready to take pups... After pups, I move to weanlings and after that it's smalls. Once they reach the small rat stage, I don't generally move them to anything above that til they're 1500g's+

    My 450 gram clown female is still on weanlings, so at 175 grams, it'd be rat pups, not fuzzy's.

    You have to judge what prey item is suitable for your snake. (Same girth as the largest part of the snakes body) Having people judge and tell you what to feed your snake based off of pictures won't work, snakes can look bigger in pictures than what they actually are.
