My guy is a beast at eating but he doesn't even take more then too looks at a rat he just ignores it.

I have a feeling this will be the case with Kaa as well. I tried to get him on rat pups around the time I got him. All he did was tilt his little snake head to the side and look at me like: "Lady. You are an idiot."

Once everybody is fed start back from the beginning and
Open tub, make sure rat is gone, remove rat if un-eaten and repeat...
All the un-eaten rats (not many) usually go as a second serving to the voracious eaters so I don't have to take them back to the rat room. ;)
Lol, that's our experience. Just took a video the other day of feeding time. I can't get my tubs closed fast enough before the rats are grabbed and coiled up at the back. I had a single survivor the other day, and he wasn't the slightest bit nervous when I pulled him out.. so I spared his life as a breeder in an attempt to pass on some calm to future generations :P
