Awesome, thanks very much! As much fun as this whole experience has been (sarcasm!), I'd really rather not repeat it. Thank you again for the help; I have a bottle on order and will pre-treat accordingly.

as aaron said the link he posted is much safer then PAM, i use the reptile relief as part of my quarantine process. every snake gets it on them before they come into the quarantine room and their cage has some too. what i do with great results is put the snake in a spare tub, spray them from the neck down(i do about 1.5 inches after the head) let them is in it for 2 mins as i spray some reptile relief on a paper towel and whip down their new tub in the quarantine rack and the outside of their water bowl. then place substrate(i use unprinted newspaper) and water bowl in tub and transfer snake to new home. in 3 days apply reptile relief again by spray on a paper towel and letting the snake slither threw the paper towel. has worked wonders, and never had a mite outbreak(even know i got a snake with mites, and they did not to any other tub). i do however keep 2 bottles of PAM laying around just incase i somehow get a huge outbreak and need it.
