    If you don't use the dial ones, remove them. Slight, slight risk of her knocking one down and getting stuck on the tape or suction cup.

    Yes, I do think she is hiding there because it's smaller. Balls hiding a lot is normal behavior.

    Aside from other issues, bps are burrow dwelling animals, they live in rodent dens and termite mounds in the wild. So that could contribute as well.

    It could either be that she wants a smaller hide or she is wants to thermoregulate in a hide. That's why people say to have equal size hides on both sides, so she can move between the 2...
