It will go when it's ready unless there is a blockage I would not recommend soaking, soaking = stress and stress can lead to RI.

They defecate more or less often based on age, feeding schedule, prey size etc.

Young animals that are growing will utilize most of the prey for their growth leaving very little to defecate.

Before you leave, I would highly suggest just posting a bit more about your current husbandry with this guy and get some feedback here from members to hopefully help your little guy settle in. He could be stressed by something, either the mites or something else which is causing him to refuse food.

As for getting him to poop, if he hasn't eaten the past two meals, don't worry about him pooping.

I would defintely post another thread with a bit more details about your little guy. Maybe there's something we can suggest that will help him start eating again :)

everything should be fine with his husbandry,

    50-65% Humidity (daily, nightly)
    88-91(daily) 85-6(nightly)

he sleeps all day pops his head out for a drink sometimes.
he always comes out at night he seems fine, but of course taking him out every couple of days to clean the cage cause of mites is probably annoying him
and i think i do handle to much just because i like him but he's never defensive with me just calm but i am not going to touch him until i am back from holiday now:)
