    It isn't a dumb question; it's called a hygrometer. You can get one at Walmart for pretty cheap (+- $20). Good to hear your temps are sounding good! Maybe just a wee little bit higher for the warm side. But 87 is certainly a good start (I'd say 87-92 for the warm side, 95 being the hottest, or basking spot).
