I am so happy to be able to put my house back together. I am also glad I don't have to set any snake traps.

As for the boyfriend, I can't be mad at him but I can guarantee he won't be leaving the lid open anymore! She wouldn't have been able to escape if she was in my rack, but since she was in a QT tub with a lockable lid, much easier to forget to lock it all the way. I'm just glad she is safe. I don't want to blame anyone.

    !!!!!!! YAY SO RELIEVED!!!

I am soooo glad that you found your little girl! I remember when my male normal escaped on me twice. I was just devastated and thought I would never see him again. He used to be in tank and had figured out how to push up on the lid just enough to be able to escape. I have not had this problem with escapes since I switched over to a rack system with tubs. Both times that he escaped I found him in the exact same spot, in the base board heating in my bathroom. I was lucky that it was in the summer time and that I was not running my heat.

I was so frustrated when I was looking. There weren't many places for her to hide so when I checked virtually my whole house I was so convinced she was just gone. So glad I checked the front closet of my house before I gave up. I didn't think she would go that far but she did!

I hope to never have an escape again...it just throws me into panic mode.
