Who is a reader?

I still need to read the Hunger Games. I bought them, but my husband started reading them.

The Hunger Games novels are FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC. I hated the simplistic writing style...and the first person perspective...but once I got past that (pet-peeves of mine), I LOVED them. I felt like I had physically lost a part of my soul when I finished them. I didn't know what to do with myself. lol. It's that kind of story. Read them!

What are the 50 Shades of Grey novels about? I've heard a lot of hype on them, but nothing about the story.

Well, they classify them as erotic romance. Not sure how much I can say on here. But I was lost at the end of those. Thinking I may read again. Go check out Christian Grey! You won't be sorry :-)

Sales for rope went up by like 90% after 50 shades of grey came out... lmfao

I'm a huge reader and have been since I was young. I read very fast and can thankfully retain everything, if left alone I will devour 3-4books a day.

I also read anything and everything! However, I have not read the 50 Shades of Gray series, even though everybody and their mamma has been recommending it to me.

Some really good books I have read recently and recommend are:
The Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning
"The Road" by Cormac McCarthy
"Catch 22" by Joseph Heller (because I laugh every-time I read this).

I also recommend just about anything by Robin McKinley. She was my all time favorite author growing up and her books "The Blue Sword", and "The Hero and the Crown" are still among my all time favorite books today. I've read "The Blue Sword" so many times growing up, that all the pages fell out, and for my birthday last year my mom got me a new copy haha.

Haha yea lol.

Im not a harry potter fan at all really. Beyond the 2nd one i lost interest. Obviously bc the basilisk in the 2nd one was sick!
Lord of the Rings books are wayyyyy better than Harry Potter imo!:gj:

Haven't read the Lord of the Rings. Seen some of the movies. Hmm, maybe I need to read those.

Lee Child has the Jack Reacher series that is awesome.

I love anything by Jodi Picoult, and I've recently discovered Lisa Scottoline, and her books are fantastic.

For light romance reading, I'm really enjoying Robyn Carr's Virgin River series.

My favorite book EVER is The Promise, by Donna Boyd (it's a werewolf story).

The Ten Little Bloodhound series by Virginia Lanier are also very good (it's an older series).

I also like James Patterson, Jonathan Kellerman, Faye Kellerman (his wife), Harlan Coben, Dean Koontz, Robin Cook to name a few.

If you have a Kindle - I highly recommend this book - Robin: Lady of Legend (The Classic Adventures of the Girl Who Became Robin Hood)
