Jennifer, thanks. That is the one cool thing about CH or WC vs. CBB, that you could possibly hit the genetic lottery. ;)

Yeah, what are the chances, like 1/16 in every 800,238,343,204,249?

    But it's still possible. :D

I think the odds are a little better than _that_ that you'd end up with one of the naturally ocurring morphs or variations with a WC or CH, at least as a recessive gene. The thing is, you'd have to breed it and match it up to the right other heterozygous or homozygous snake to know.

Or breed its offspring back with it. ;)

Yeah, that! Still, that's only a little better than 50% chance

Yup, but then breed the offspring's offspring back to the original WC specimen...it'll show up sooner or later if it's there. That's how "big breeders" <aka> Bob Clark, prove out Albino, piebald, or any recessive gene for that matter. But there is no real point for me to do that, seeing as how he doesn't look like any wild snake. If he looked like an axanthic or something, I may try that. That's like 10 years or more on ONE project. :sigh:... LOL. Good thing he looks normal. :P

Hee hee. Yeah, but if you have a spare female lying around and an interest in pursuing it, you could. I talked to Alan Bosch and he started out with all hets and poss. hets, no actual morphs.

That's true..I should do it! But then if I'm going to do it for Caesar, I may ask well do it for the other 5 that are females. :sigh: again, lol. But my real plan is to breed my male het albino with the females I have, to get abunch of 50%ers, then breed the female offspring back with the male, and the male offspring back with the female. I really do love albino's out of every other morph (except maybe Super Pastel's and Mojaves, but since there are no hets for either of those excluding pastels, I'm not about to go out and spend $15K on one). Oooh, but a clown is very close second, and those aren't quite as much. mmmmm....... :-\ Man, what am I saying, I'm not Bill gates with T$$$$$NS of moolah, lmao!

LOL. My faves are leucistic and pastel orange ghosts. I told Alan that (he asked) and he said, "you really like the high dollar ones, don't you?" I'm definitely going to have to work my way up, but I may just be able to do that, esp. if the het pied and my other plan work out.
