Congratulations! And as far as names ... how about naming her after a Florida writer? Maybe Zora, after Zora Neale Hurston, or Marjorie (Kinnan Rawlings - wrote "The Yearling").

Huge congratulations! Eastern Indigos were always one of my favorites growing up in the Panhandle were we used to see them regularly. It sure would be nice if they could make a comeback here in Central Florida.

As for a name, how about Tequesta?

Congratulations, that is an awesome snake. I grew up and still live in southeast Georgia and have always wanted one since i was a kid. The Jacksonville zoo has one that I always like to visit when I go.
    Oseola is a good name.

Major congratulations to you! Being a Florida resident I know how virtually impossible it is to get that permit(even if you are doing educational presentations left and right). As for the name, I like Osceola - definitely make it something with deep Florida roots. Some of the rivers would make great names(Suwannee, Ichetucknee, Withilacoochee). Out of those 3 I'd probably go with Suwannee since it's classic Florida and long and dark - like an indigo. Congrats again and keep us updated please.
