I would take them back it's not worth the risk to your current collection. I hope you didn't pay much for that normal!

What were you going to cure the RI with if you can't afford vet bills? Sure, lots of RIs go away with husbandry change, or even limiting stressors... but what if it wasn't going to get better? Were you going to close your eyes and wish really hard that it would get better?

Vet bills can become more expensive then what you think FAST. I think I would recommend giving them back to save you lots of possible headaches.

I strongly urge you not to add animals to your collection just for the sake of having more animals. You need to make a plan for what you want your collection to be or eventually produce, then stick with that plan and procure the highest quality snakes you can afford.

You will never be disappointed buying quality animals. And just as a tip, you'll find very few quality animals by surfing FB and Craig's List.

I don't usually disagree with you, Slim, but I know there are quite a few excellent quality breeders that have a pretty strong Facebook presence, including some of our mods... ;)

True, I got my nice little spider girl off CL from a quality breeder (who also advertises on Fauna). Sometimes you get lucky :)

The main thing is to look for quality and be wary of anything that's "a steal" or anyone who seems ignorant about the animals. Craigslist definitely makes the search for a needle in a haystack harder, but hey, I've sold one or two there myself. :) Not that I'd ever post there again. The only thing worse than some of the ignorant sellers on that site is some of the ignorant buyers that want to make insulting offers and then argue with you (via text) when you politely decline!
