Yes I did lol! Im an idiot and was gunna add that to my post but forgot to!
I got a used 10 tub AP rack for $250 (from someone local so i didnt have to pay shipping). If i bought it new from AP it would have cost me $520 shipped.
I would just keep your eyes out for a deal like this. Its not black like i would prefer, but my snakes like white too lol.
I would reccommend going to your local expo and seeing who there sells PVC racks. For example i pre-ordered my PVC rack from Reptile Basics and was able to pick it up at the show and get a $30 discount bc Rich didnt have to ship it. :gj:
Re: Plastic rack vs wooden rack?
I found a potential supplier (of PVC) about 5 min away from my house currently. It's called Grainger. (Link) Not sure if it's reliable, but, I'll have to stop by in the future and see. Has anyone ever heard of the store?
Re: Plastic rack vs wooden rack?
Sorry for bringing this thread back up, but, would you consider that DIY rack (Click Here) to be/look pretty reliable? For those who built one similar, how do you like it?
Also, I forgot to ask this before but, for the Fail Safe Stat, is that a good one to use along with a different Thermostat, or do you just use the Fail Safe?
Re: Plastic rack vs wooden rack?
Ohh, okay thanks!
How would I go about trying to 'keep in' the thermal insulation? Add more boarding to the bottom and top?
Re: Plastic rack vs wooden rack?
Would it be fine if the temp was around 75?
Also, what kind of insulation would you recommend?
Sorry for asking question after question ><

Oh, okay thanks! I think I got the idea now haha.
