    it is not, i have a slightly different setup im trying. have a adjustable overhead lamp, used to maintained day temps, the repti moss helps maintain humidity at 65-75% and i have a mini uth a few inches under her hide, i have checked with an inferad thermometer, it gets no hotter then 80-83 or so with her bedding

    but what if she digs down and touches the bottom of the tank? how hot does that get?

    i tested that well, 85-88* or so if the bedding was completely removed. ive never seen it try to burrow or dig down anywere.
