Super Dwarf Reticulated Pythons.

After seeing a retics feeding response i dont ever plan on owning one lol.
I dont feel like owning a snake that tries to take my head off whenever i open the tank haha

I don't think a SD retic could do that seeing as it's the size of a BP lol

SD retics are retics. They have amazing feeding responses, and are handy to have around if some of your balls refuse to eat.

They also are very active, intelligent and semi-arboreal. They SHOULD NOT be kept in tubs.

SDs only get 4-5 foot? great now i have yet another snake added to the list of must have. The only reason i shy away from Retics is because i dont have the space for them.

It couldnt but it will certainly try. No matter what size tic it is theyll be capable of having similar feeding responses and cage aggresion. Just not something id wanna deal with lol

My SD female is from the Travis Kubes line. She's about 5.5-6 foot now and will try to take your head off with every feeding. Incredible snake, but please be ready for their feeding response. If you have never worked with a 'Tic...You will be taken back by it! A snakehook and brass balls are a must for owning one! :rolleyes:

Yeah I recommend Travis Kubes as well. Purchased a 2011 SD male and he is awesome and small.

It's a bit pricey, over $1k, but that's probably because it's a morph. Is Bob Clark known to be a good supplier of SD's?

I don't think there is just a page of SD retic morphs like World of Ball Pythons but you can find them if you search Kingsnake. Keep in mind they're bred with dwarf retics in order to get this morphs so they're going to larger than 4-5 feet if you go the morph route. They're also very expensive.

Pretty much if it's a dwarf retic morph someone has or will breed it to a SD retic to make smaller versions.
