    Just get a window AC (:
    I used to have one in my room and it was up around 93 in the FALL. Now it's a nice 70 all the time.

    This is a really good idea. I live in CT and we dont have AC. Im gunna try this though.
    My stepdad's "AC" method is the good ole "open the doors and maybe we can get a breeze going".

    Poor man's A/C. I have heard a fan angled on top of a cooler full of ice works too.

    Keep your curtains/blinds closed, the sun won't heat your room that way.

    They make portable box fan style evaporative coolers. Might be a better option for a temporary situation. Helps keep the humidity up as well, an a/c will suck the humidity out of the air.

    Whenever the ambients get within about 3 degrees of the hot end of the enclosure I just unplug the heat and plug it back in when the heat wave is over. Maybe this would work for you?
