    It's pretty normal. I've had a ball python and a corn snake that never constricted their prey. My boa is another story, though. She waits by the cage door and slams the rat in a matter of seconds.

    I just realized my corn snake never constricts or strikes either. I guess it is normal then haha. I appreciate all the help! I'm very glad I found this website, so many awesome people that care enough about bps to help us newbies :)
