Simple Pleasure

Today my simple pleasure is enjoying the sound of my fish tank bumbling...the birds chirping outside...the smells of the mint i just planted along with the blooming lavendar filling the air! Ahhh peace and serenity.

My little sister (college-aged), visiting today and babying my young Coral Albino RTB, and joking about/pondering getting her own snake. My partner doing a load of laundry for me so I'll have clean work clothes for my overnight shift tonight. My crestie dorking it up this morning. Having a pleasant conversation with the roomie AND managing to talk with my mother like normal people.

My simple pleasure is my three year old sleeping in to 6:30 instead of his normal 6:00 am. That half an hour is pure bliss!;)

A cold beer after a long day (or night :D) at work...
